Pregunta o consulta del visitante:

Hola...ayuda con el xinput1_3.dll.
Descargue un juego llamado sonic generations.

Lo instale como venia en un tutorial. Y ahora de ejecutarlo como administrador no lo agarro y decia que faltaba el xinput1_3.dll

Entonces lo descargue y lo pase a la carpeta del juego y me salio:
Critical error.
Despues lo pase a la carpeta de System32 y tampoco no funciona...entonces vi este su tutorial de como registrar el xinput1_3.dll.

Entonces puse ejecutar y escribi:REGSVR32 c:\windows\system32\xinput1_3.dll y despues me salio:
No se pudo cargar el modoluo: c:\windows\system32\xinput1_3.dll
No se puede encontrar el modulo especificado.

A y por cierto me laptop es windows 7 y pues espero que puedan ayudarme

Encontré un foro en inglés donde explican una posible solución a este problema:

Rápidamente dice que debes descargar el archivo x360ce_lib64_r766.zip o x360ce_lib32_r766.zip (depende si tienes una computadora 64 bits o 32 bits respectivamente).

En enlace para descargarlos es este:

Una vez hecho esto, extraer los archivos en la carpeta steamapps/common de Sonic Generations. En otras palabras, estos archivos extraídos deben estar en la misma carpeta que el archivo SonicGenerations.exe.

Luego abrir xbox360ce.exe y pedirá generar archivos, te pedirá cuál es el que necesitas. Debes indicar el xinput1_3.dll.

Luego te dejo los siguientes pasos en inglés, porque se vuelven algo complicados:

4) Now you'll see a window with a Xbox 360 controller and the buttons listed on each side and the bottom, each one has a drop down menu, you open the drop down menu, click on record and then press the button on your gamepad you want to map it to, repeat until you have all 12 buttons (or 10+ 2 triggers), both sticks and the DPad mapped.

5) Go to the Options tab and change InputHook to Compatibility, then enable all of the dlls on the Installed Files section.

6) Go back to the Controller 1 tab and make sure all of your mappings are working, the corresponding button should light up on the 360 controller image, do any corrections if needed.

7) Click Save then exit xbox360ce, then open the Configuration Tool, go to the Input Configuration tab and switch the controller to Keyboard.

8) Launch the game and you should hear a Windows alert sound as soon as it launches (right before the Sega logo appears)

And done, now just press the button you mapped to Start and enjoy the game
